Disneyland Resort

The Disneyland Resort is an entertainment resort in Anaheim, California, and is home to two theme parks, three hotels, and the Downtown Disney shopping, dining, and entertainment district. Originally developed by Walt Disney in the 1950s, the property consisted of Disneyland, its 100-acre (40 ha) parking lot, and the Disneyland Hotel. After the success with the multi-park, multi-hotel business model at Walt Disney World in Florida, Disney acquired large parcels of land adjacent to Disneyland to apply the same approach in Anaheim. Disney purchased the Disneyland Hotel from Walt's business partner Jack Wrather in 1988, and in 1995 purchased the Pan Pacific Hotel from the Tokyu Group to become today's Pixar Place Hotel. Land purchases continued through the 1990s and the company now owns 489 acres (198 ha) and has long-term lease rights to develop an additional 52 acres (21 ha). A major expansion came in 2001 when the property saw the addition of the Grand Californian Hotel, the second theme park, and the Downtown Disney shopping, dining, and entertainment district.

Hidden Mickey Found	I recently found out that the address to Disneyland is 1313 S. Harbor Blvd. The 13th letter of the alphabet is "M"...leading one to belive that the address stands for the parks most famous resident's initials...M M. I called the City of Anaheim planning and Zoning Dept. and they assured me it was only coincidence ... UPDATE: As of 2023, the address of Disneyland is:  1313 Disneyland Dr, Anaheim, CA  92802

Hidden Mickey Found	The largest Hidden Mickey (so far!) is on Disneyland Drive between California Adventure and the Lion King parking lot. It can be seen on Google Maps here.

Hidden Mickey Found	In the Marceline's Confectionery store in Downtown Disney, the bottom serif of the "M" in Marceline's and the two serfs of the "C" in Confectiony form a Mickey.

Hidden Mickey Found	On the fountain that's closest to the parks, there's a small Hidden Mickey just below the lip where the water flows.] All the tiles are square, but there's a couple of round ones in there. CONFIRMED: This is even harder to see now as there's a stone planter on the edge of where the fountain bench meets the fence. You have to stand all the way to the right to see it.

Esplanade

Hidden Mickey Found	Take a look at the Mickey rivets in the fencing Ironwork around the trees in the entry plaza between Disneyland and California Adventure.   Between the entrances to Disneyland and California Adventure, near the ticket sales booths, the trees have iron cages around the trunks to protect them from the crowds. The circular pieces are bolted to vertical metal strips. Every other bolt (it may not actually function as a bolt) is a Mickey.

Decor	Throughout the area of the ticket sales booths there are a number of benches available to sit on. Every one of them has a Hidden Mickey for the end of the bench, rotated to one side. The legs of the bench are the large circle and one of the smaller ones, the other smaller circle points straight up to anchor the back of the bench. DECOR: I had to make a comment about the hidden Mickey sighting that is number nine on the general sightings list. The mickeys that are the bench legs in the ticket area are decor...they are easily visible due to the fact that there are about 15 benches with this on them and the Mickey's are about two feet tall.

Disneyland Park Entry / Exit

Hidden Mickey Found	When you enter the park, there are ticket takers that let you in. Look where they are standing at about knee level. There is a speaker grid for the sound system which has Mickey for the hole designs. UPDATE: Our friend from Russia found a Hidden Mickey. When you enter the park (Disneyland) from the turnstiles, after you get through the actual turnstile at the entrance gates, turn back and look down toward the middle of the metal pedestal where the ticket attendant stands. The Mickey shape is cut into the flush panel where the attendant's legs are.

Unknown	These wood formations are found above the entry/exit turnstiles. The head is kind of oval, but the basic shape seems to be there. You can see them when you enter and when you exit.

Mickey and Friends Parking Structure

Hidden Mickey Found	We found one in the concrete swirls in the Mickey & Friends parking structure.  It is large with the "head" circle being almost two feet in diameter.  Thousands of folks just walk over it, never looking down.  It is on the 2nd floor between 2A and the walkway.  It is just outside of the stall, so even when a car is there, it remains visible.

Hidden Mickey Found	There is a Hidden Mickey in the Mickey & Friends parking structure, located between 3A and 3B, on the ground next to the pole. UPDATE: This Mickey is located on level 2 (Daisy) of the Mickey & Friends parking structure.

Hidden Mickey Found	The trash cans have Recycle logos similar to those on Main Street, and there's a small Mickey that's hard to see. Not sure if this is Decor or Hidden Mickey. UPDATED: I noticed that on the trash cans in Disneyland there is a Mickey. I don't know if anyone reported it but if not then I am. CONFIRMED: Mrs. Pianoman has spoken: This is a Hidden Mickey.

Grand Californian Hotel

Unknown	Outside the main entrance, there's a pillar covered with panels. On the rear panel, there's a Mickey peeking out from behind the left side of a tree. There are two other Mickeys in this same panel, in the upper right tree and in a tree just above the trunk. Each of the panels around the pillar have Mickeys in them. Some of these might be Decor, but some of them may be the Grand Californian logo ... which has a Hidden Mickey in it.

Hidden Mickey Found	There is a grandfather clock in the lobby with a Mickey Mouse head on the face. CONFIRMED: If you get up real close, it's pretty obvious. But it's easy to just walk right past this clock and never notice it.

Hidden Mickey Found	The Christmas tree in the lobby has several lantern-like ornaments. One of them is a red candle. This ornament has three Hidden Mickeys made up of holly berries, two on the right and one on the lower left. They hang this ornament on the balconies as well, so there are dozens of these "holly Mickeys" in the lobby.
